Background
The Southern Railway Bullied Light Pacific class is a type of air-smoothed 4-6-2 steam locomotive designed for the Southern Railway by Oliver Bullied between 1945 and 1951. A total of 110 locomotives were built and withdrawn from service between 1963 and 1967.
Ten members of this class are preserved to this day, and are currently members of the National Railway Collection.
