Background
The London & North Eastern Railway Q6 Class is a type of 2-cylinder 0-8-0 steam locomotive designed for the London & North Eastern Railway by Vincent Raven in between 1913 and 1921. A total of 6 locomotives were built and withdrawn from service between 1960 and 1967.
The only surviving member of this class is No. 63395, and is currently a member of the National Railway Collection.
