London, Midland & Scottish Railway 4-6-0 Patriot Class

Background
The London, Midland & Scottish Railway Patriot Class was a type of 3-cylinder 4-6-0 steam locomotive designed for the London, Midland & Scottish Railway by Sir Henry Fowler between 1930 and 1934. A total of 52 locomotives were built and withdrawn from service between 1960 and 1965.

None of the original Patriots exist today, but a new member of this class is under construction.
